Type
Single-Head (Cartridge) Heaters:
The most widely used type in injection molding. They are inserted directly into drilled holes in the mold block and come in standard sizes (6mm to 25mm diameters) as well as micro or large formats for specialized applications.

Double-Head Heaters:
Electric heating rods with terminals on both ends. They are generally threaded or clamped into larger structural molds or platens.

Hot Runner Coil/Tubular Heaters:
Specifically designed for hot runner systems, these flexible, high-wattage tubular elements wrap around manifolds or nozzles to keep molten plastic perfectly fluid as it travels into the cavity.

Two-Semicircular Heaters:
A highly efficient upgrade to the traditional single-head cartridge. They are folded in half and expand outward when inserted, ensuring the tightest possible fit against the mold wall for maximum thermal transfer.

Applications
Plastic Injection Molding:
Installed directly into mold cavities or hot runner systems to ensure molten resin flows smoothly, prevents premature cooling, and reduces defects in the finished part.
Die Casting:
Heats metal molds prior to pouring molten alloys (like aluminum or zinc) to prevent thermal shock and ensure proper structural filling.
Packaging and Sealing:
Used in "cut and seal" heads on packaging equipment to melt and bond plastic films and blister packs.
Medical Device Manufacturing:
Provides the highly accurate, sterile temperature control necessary for molding plastic housings, catheter connectors, and syringes.
